I've been photographing Laurie and Tony's beautiful little girl, Elizabeth for the past 3 years so I was delighted when Laurie got in contact with me to photograph their wedding. Like Elizabeth, Laurie has a hint of Snow White about her, and just as sweet, so a wee dream to photograph. Tony, yer no bad, pal. haha! We decided upon a Southside shoot, close to where they will be getting married, so we could kill two birds with one stone, view the wedding venue and grounds, have a chat over coffee (ehem, double espresso for me!)and take some photographs along our merry way. We even stopped by their flat, to take advantage of the stunning black gloss doors, and of course that Pineapple. I ADORED their outfit choices, they tied it all together like a dream. Red is my favourite colour anyways, but in photographs it really pops and against the greens from the trees in Maxwell Park and against the black of the shop fronts and their front door, it really worked a treat. I really really enjoyed photographing them both. As you can see wee laughed...a lot, and the connection between these two is undeniable. True Love. Here's to Friday, the Big Day! Looking forward to seeing you all...I might cry, but I'll blow my nose quietly, promise... N xxx

I was so lucky to photograph Si Si Rae again. She is playing at King Tuts Wah Wah Hut on 14th Feb. At only £6 a ticket, I can think of no better way to spend my valentines day. You can buy tickets at www.sisirae.com I'll be there photographing the event and having a few little drinks along the way :) So hope to see you all there supporting local talent. Heres a preview of a little cosy live recording at Wetherley. This song "I am" is an original song written and composed by Ross Cooney (My Husband ;P) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZxPYkDpJa0

When my Father-In-Law and my wee Bro-In-Law come up from London, it's always a pleasure to see how the kids all get along and how they pick up from where they left off the last time they visited. It's like a day hasn't passed. This time round, these two have been stuck together at the hip. From the moment they wake in the morning, until they go to bed at night, its full on laugter and mischief! It's like they have exactly the same sense of humor and they just "get" each other. That's why I decided to pick up my camera and try capture the love they have for one an other in a really snap shotty kind of way. I didnt want to turn it into a session, so I just hung about with them for 20 minutes as that's all my ears could handle!! (eep) As you can see from some of the pics, Angus is quite the poser and REALLY likes having his picture taken! so I took 5 minutes to get some of him to take back to his mum in London. So Uncle Angus and his Nephew Miles, seem to have a special bond, and I hope it lasts forever...they two will be breaking hearts in Soho in 20 years time ;) I can see it now.
